But... many of those same DIY clients end up coming to RES, hat in hand because at some point the wheels have fallen off and they don't know what to do.

This is where my investor hat kicks on.

We definitely wear many hats in this career (don't forget therapist), but always advise that clients speak with qualified professionals on anything outside your scope (legal, tax, etc) to avoid any trouble!
