Under the carpet is a cement slab which seems to be in pretty good condition.

Most dentists start 400-500 in the hole now.

This helps cement the information into your brain and if you need to look back you have tons of notes to reference.

It is a bit cracked on the top cement, I think that might be fine.  

Comparing it to your rent cost is very smart IMO.And being able to live for free (or a significantly reduced amount) is such a powerful place to be, especially when you will likely be making incredible money as a dentist. 

Well, what happened was the massive humidity loosened probably 50% of the tiles, exposing the cement board/plaster product below and letting a bunch of tiles fall off the wall, where huge chunks of adhesive were stuck in the plaster.

But the exterior of the house is completely uniform -- painted cement block where you can see the outline of the blocks -- instead of the typical conversion where there is wood or some other type of material around part of where the garage used to be, that doesn't match the rest of the house.

We hired a company to dig a french drain/sump pump, install one of those black vapor barriers, & they then cemented it.

Last year i decided to diversify and start installing decorative concrete overlays as i knew there was a great demand for this trade...Patios, interior floors, garages, basements, pool decks, and foundations are all candidates for cement overlays....

I have a unit near me in a great location, needs some work as it was being rented and or used as medical/dentist offices.
