And over the course of those years, alongside making $350 monthly payments on a car I only drove on weekends 6 months out of the year, I had slowly poured obscene amounts of money into the vehicle in an effort to reach my goal of it being one of the fastest street cars in the area.

I think I heard CAR is fighting for the return to previous levels.

Keep a maintence long and get on some kind of maintence check and expectected repairs schedule just like for a car.  I

On the other side paying that 9k on the car is taking money out of our pockets right now we could use for renovations and reserves.

A $4,000 car is a beater.

I've family in Cleveland - Ohio, Cary-NC and Tampa - FL areas where I might consider investing for multi family rentals.
