So it may be wise for you to get yourself educated for a bit first and put the money into a low-risk liquidatable investment or savings account for now.Lastly, I swear BP isn’t paying me to promote this book, but I did recently buy and listen to the Audible version of the BP Publishing book by David Greene, Long-Distance Real Estate Investing: How to Buy, Rehab, and Manage Out-of-State Rental Properties, which you can find on the BP Store or Amazon.

I’ve just read the bigger pockets book Long Distance Real Estate Investing by David Greene alongside Making Money in Real Estate: The Canadian Guide to Investing in Residential Property, and I’ve begun to dig in to CMHC data, and I’d be interested in hearing from fellow investors with...boots on the ground?

Which was after I put about $700 in repairs over the first 18 months I owned the house.So, that's been my experience, albeit a green one. 

Take a look at the book, Long Distance Real Estate Investing, by David Greene and/or listen to the BP podcast in which the knowledgeable investor was featured.
