They generally will paint and do minor remodeling, rearrange your furniture or supply new furniture delivered and set up, add artwork to the walls, arrange for professional photos, etc.

It's just a job where you trade time for money.There is no leverage, no equity, no tax benefits, no passivity, etc.I'd encourage you to radically pursue SAVE MODE and find ways in your current occupation to work overtime, deliver pizza on Fri/Sat nights, and cut back on eating out and entertainment.

Reduce overhead: stop eating out, move somewhere cheaper, drive a terrible car, cut cable, sell your TV, etcMake more money: get a job promotion, work overtime, flip homes, deliver pizza, etcDetermine what is your highest dollar producing activity and do it as much as possible.

For labor, DO NOT pay for labor unless or until labor is expended and shows up on your job site in the form of completed work, but expect to pay for this on a weekly basis as work is "delivered".
