Hello BiggerPockets family, my name is Guarionex, I'm 24 years old, I'm originally from the Dominican republic, moved to the District of Columbia area four years ago, i enjoy the BP because I'm enthusiastic about becoming a real estate investor, however, i must admit i know noting about how to start or what to do, but I have been doing some research online and just feel like most of the people are selling me something. at this moment I cannot stay still is like my heart is telling me to jump but i don't want to do it without knowing or understanding what it is I'm getting into.

I'm expanding my network of GPs looking for large multi-family and you never know when I'll run into a fellow campground enthusiast!

People are going crazy in and around Bridgeport right now because there is a lot of development and still talk or even action at this point regarding a new casino from what I hear.Also doesn't hurt that it's so close to Stamford and New York of course.You can make money investing just about anywhere... but I prefer to pay attention where everyone is going, and go in the opposite direction.

I know with my strategy I am going to need a great realtor and an attorney and my thought is my first step should be interviewing realtors to find an enthusiastic and trustworthy person to work with.Any thoughts or advice on what my next step should be to get started on my first buy would be greatly appreciated!

She is planning on buying a small multi-family home around here since this is where she works and a lot of people live around this area because of the local casino.

The REIA meets every Thursday at 11:30 for lunch at the Rampart Casino Buffet.
