So it seems like its not possible, but what I can do is add the basement as part of one unit like you said, or maybe open up the basement for storage space as I have done with the garage.

@Corey DemersHi Corey,It is my understanding that rental properties / passive income businesses (except for self storage and hotels) are ineligible for PPPThe PPP loan is a 7a derivative, 7a loans historically do not permit rental businessesAdditionally, the PPP loan amount could factor in contractors and the like.

In NJ, right outside ManhattanPut an offer in December to purchase a condo with an initial close date of 2/4.Seller pushed back to close on 3/12 and after some deliberation we agreed since our lease was expiring on 3/16.Oil tank was found in the condo and confirmation letter sent on 1/22 to buyer.Oil tank still not removed and now further delays due to Coronavirus.My lease have run out, staying in a hotel with a 8 month old and wife with all stuff in storage locker.

Nice covered front porch, open living rm to dinning rm, turn the basement into more living space, work shop, or just extra storage, detached garage works for multiple purposes.
