It has become more competitive in general to acquire properties through traditional methods because inventory is tight, combined with the the fact that flippers have had a tail wind on flips the last couple years as the market has gone up.

Think you can't make money in real estate unless you bend someone over and stick up their tail end?

If it were me, I’d quietly bow out with my tail between my legs and disappear.

We also know demand's not event distributed across each market, but more like a long tail where disproportionate rewards go to the top listings in any market, making per market averages incredibly misleading. 

I don't want to get caught with my tail in the door, and would like a back up home inspector if that is possible.If you have worked with a home inspector in Philadelphia or Delaware county that is meticulous and pays attention to all details of a home inspection, I would be enormously grateful.Thanks!

@Robert Taylor I think most folks do:Buy - Fixup - Sell/Rent which usually takes a minimum or 3 months here in Boston or New Hampshire.A Flip to me, is like with a coin, takes less than a second to determine Heads or Tails not 3 months.

Hi folks, I am relatively new in this forum, but trying to make the heads and tails of one particular deal in Westchester County.The deal is 8 unit multi-family house, however... there appear to be abandoned building next to it, I am not entirely sure what that means...

Especially, if you are investing long term you'll make more money at the tail end.
