She previously worked in a screen print shop, so with added skill set she is gaining, she plans to freelance on design and marketing projects for a side income.

Property management should be left to those who are qualified in this arena, or to property owners who are willing to develop the skills necessary to do the job properly themselves.

I believe it is ok to spend money to increase skill/knowledge and that often the money is well spent.
