Village of Babylon bans them but other towns might not, especially where they’re common and have strong foundations like in Towns of Southhampton, East Hampton and fire island.

In the past week San Diego county supervisors passed a “temporary” ban on evictions (except for ”imminent health and safety threat”) and set maximum rent increases at the CPI. 

Short Term Rentals near Disneyland are now banned by the city of Anaheim. 

Selling will be difficult - local ordinance now bans rentals in this neighborhood. :-(!

Arbitrage is generally a bad idea for most unless you have a nice reserve of cash to pay the lease if it gets banned or something else restricts the use as a STR.Also, there is a moratorium on STR licenses in North Little Rock at this time.
