Construction practices vary per market somewhat, but around here (Texas in general) you can find many paint contractors that will tape, float and texture drywall.

Not only is the content you provide better than almost any other you then go on to explain each one so the reader doesn't feel like "ok great you shared this idea now how in the world does it work and how can it be applied".Again thank you so much for being willing to share your knowledge that you have learned over the years. while others have peaked my interest in real estate investing you have added the "JET FUEL" to the dying match that i had for investing. 

I understand and have high value on flow, texture, space, color, end user/consumer, and general aesthetic.

walls/windows/appliances. and a contractor stripping wallpaper in a stairway and dining room then texture and painting. replacing a door and know, replacing bathroom vanity mirror, some trash removal(tv)  it's all legit. 

Haha...I know it's pretty common these days but no cover up or anything...just whipped it out and kept talking about ceiling texture and plumbing issues.

I'm rehabbing a single family house in an above average neighborhood, am considering replacing the current standard bathtub to a fancy fiberglass tub with whirlpool jets.

Think about it, homes are the biggest purchase in the lives of the vast majority of people, unless you hang out with the private jet crowd (who buy them, not NetJets users) or if all of your friends have mega-yachts, then otherwise a home is the major purchase of their lives and we all know the extreme lengths so many big companies and makers of any product go to, spending tons of $$$ on PR, marketing, etc and it often comes down to a single word or a term related to their product. 

Sometimes the ground water demineralizes the block wall and leaves it crumbly or it's a sugary texture.

Wish I could join... its kinda far from Toronto though.. maybe the wholesaling will pick up in the next few weeks and I'll get myself a nice little Lear jet... optimistic thinking!
