Many of the landlords in Worcester go for Section 8 rents as they are more stable, but then you are subject to inspectors determining if your house qualifies for their programs. 

Perhaps a nice 1950's built bungalow.Always hire a 3rd party property inspector to give you an unbiased feel for the home.

Get an inspector in there and figure this out. 

I thought it was in good shape, inspector estimates it has 1-5 years of life left, and may develop leaks soon.

is it like writing a new offer based on the new information from the inspector? 

I'm trying to find an environmental inspector last minute and I don't mind spending the money that could potentially save me thousands.

This home taught me the extreme importance of doing your due diligence and picking a good home inspector.

This wouldn't be a huge deal, but the main inspector is known to be a jacka** and looks for little things to get you on.I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to just put the water in my LLC's name, then bill it back to tenant to avoid the inspections altogether.
