@Stephanie Younger I am a national development director and have interviewed and screened literally hundreds of contractors for virtually any and all trades that you could possibly imagine.  

Also, I must say those cabinets now look great.

Looking for advice on granite or soapstone kitchen countertops that will look good with White cabinets, Agreeable Gray walls, and a beige-ish floor tile. 

Being hundreds of miles away puts you at the mercy of someone else controlling your investment.  

If you attempted doing that as a real estate licensee, that would be an ethics violation that could put you in hot water and wind up costing you hundreds to thousands of dollars in fines. 

@Enrique Saucedo, I did a substantial amount of remodeling on all of the units.The first 7 units, in Mountain View had essentially the same level of work: New flooring, new oak kitchen cabinets, new granite counter tops, new appliances, new toilets, new tile, grounding of electrical outlets, sheet rock, paint, new fixtures.

@Polar Prutaseranee do you put in new cabinets?

Did you have any problems with using the existing cabinets?

I have rehabbed the unit with laminate/tile floors, new kitchen cabinets, etc... is it worth it to go to the next level with the rehab (crown moulding, custom shower, etc..) in this area?

At the time they implied that they had hundreds of other clients that they lend on each day.
