However, for those of you that aren't Realtors, it can't hurt to partner up with one (I'm in Charleston SC if anyone needs a Realtor) :)I have been running my listings on craigslist, but haven't been getting much action except for A LOT of spam--emails from investor websites that buy houses.I haven't started contacting them yet, but I am getting a nice collection of buyers.

The seller did mention that he had a few inquires into the house, and his realtor friend feels he can move it at a close to ARV price, but the seller would rather not gamble with time.What do you guys and gals think?

I was unclear about how someone got a negative influence but after reading the post (thanks for the hyperlink Ralph) about how the influence system works it's pretty clear.Someone with a high negative influence had to be spamming quite a bit and not really participating on the forum to get to that point.

And you will frequently come across real estate related debates raging between these knowledgeable folks; I encourage you all to pay extra close attention to both sides of those discussions, because you'll learn both sides of the issue.Users will challenge posts that seem questionable, and try to extract some better evidence to support these suspect posts.The site is moderated, and there is a management commitment to prevent / eliminate 'spam" posts, and to properly deal with those who choose to not pay attention to the rules.

I agree with Marc, not getting insurance is a huge gamble, as well as not requiring it.Sorry I didn't reply, I haven't frequented this forum too often as of late.
