@Jesse Kerr the disconnect, in our opinion, is doing everything yourself and keeping it in your head VERSUS a good PMC having to document everything and communicate it effectively to all parties.As the owner, you can make immediate decisions, saving LOTS of time!

I used RLS back in 2018, when they were still ascending in their fame and riches, and not yet so expensive.

With that in mind, what is a good strategy to communicate this and reduce the shock ?

I plan to move back to India soon and was wondering if at all it would be possible to remotely manage my properties from India (12 hour time difference makes real time communication a lot harder).

But, I also don't know your calendar and the availability you have for communication either. 

All I can suggest here is that you make sure you have a fool-proof method of communication for your tenants to prevent this from happening again.

I understand where you're coming from, it's a mindset shift and I think many (if not most) people here will tell you that the shift occurred after reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad"... so if you haven't read that, you may want to.  

Maybe I'm not communicating clearly, I am employed I was only temporarily laid off.
