I would hope you do some sort of background check besides a valid credit card.

I know that wholesalers will offer to help people move, clear out junk, throw in some cash to help with moving expenses or gas, but what are the most ingenious and imaginative offers you've come made or heard of?

Michael:  I paid $500 bucks for some remodeling plans (yucca valley architect who is quas-retired) and he connected me to engineer/ and Title 24 guy  (new construction also requires soil test engineering and sometimes water flow testing for the water district)but I think 1000-1500 is probably  low end and 3500-5000 is high endI'm working on a hew house in pioneertown and I'm interviewing builders/general contractors (who have plans in their archives that were approved) -many plans approved in 2015 aren't valid.. because of the Title 24 increases every year and the 2016 codeNathan: exciting. yucca NEEDS some new apartments!

@Casey Murray, thank you for validating my MF search in the TierraSanta area (I did not see anything either).

I know that I’ll need to confirm rent rolls and validate each lease.  

Probably the biggest thing was that I partnered with a contractor who had a different vision for the property than I did.It was an old duplex that he envisioned as being sold only to an investor and he wanted to finish it with low-mid grade finishes (formica, wall-wall carpet, clean up the old gas stoves, etc). 

When the interest rates go up a few times in 2018( say 5% or higher), gas price go up most buyers will freak out.

One thing my accountant does is deduct for gas/mileage on my work vehicle

Make sure the channel and budget fit for your goals and hit the gas hard on that medium until you like the results then move to the next medium and master it.
