The best way to get an understanding of the growth in specific areas is to look at sold, remodeled homes on the MLS and check out the time in took for those properties to sell.

However, when you factor in the time value of money, and the minor(Or major) remodel needed after a tenant moves out, you might as well just keep flipping.

I think the repairs needed (before having an inspection) are complete gut and remodel of bedroom, partial remodel of kitchen, fireplace inspection and repair and 2 years out on a new roof.

Why do you think it would be a good idea to pay the property off early instead of using that extra cash to remodel/renovate the cottages and get them closer to market rents?
