Try out the search bar at the top right to find forum discussions and blog posts about the topic.If you could get more specific you might get better feedback..ie- What type of properties are you looking to finance?

Downtown has some closed bars and surrounded by nearby low income.., some good martini bars (oak and olive) moving into downtown bringing the higher end clients, but still boarded up buildings here and there....

The government doesn't want to be tasked with providing for people that were unable to screen things properly and thus has this bar set up.The rules were changed with The JOBS Act a few years ago and the SEC finally issued their interpretation of things late last year.

It is also less than a mile from the downtown area featuring bars and restaurants.

If you haven't already done so, read the Beginner's Guide to Investing (under the learn tab) along with some of the Podcasts, both will give you some great information.Also, fill out the keyword alerts, upper right (just under the yellow bar) with things like: buy and hold, New Orleans, etc.Have fun, good luck, see you on the forums.
