I am gaining confidence the more I listen to the podcasts while working out at the gym at 5:00 in the morning and reading books after grading and planning, but as many speakers have said - The real education happens when you have "skin in the game."  

On the third meetup, there was a guest speaker who was a real estate investor/real estate agent, residing in Indianapolis, named @Zach Hoereth.

I’ve been to a lot of real estate investing meetups and heard from a gazillion speakers.

The group shares information, has speakers to help educate, and a great networking group. 

I believe Robyn runs that group.Many of the other groups seem to gather a lot of newbies...dependent on an organizer that survives on national speakers to pitch their groups for high priced training.

One speaker this weekend suggested rehab projects that would take a long time which this one sounds like it would be would be not the way to go.

But if you are 45 years old and your vehicle is a BMX bike with a blue tooth speaker taped to the handle bars and living with your mother because she is eligible for HUD, stamps and EIB, The only thing you may have to offer the opposite sex is the fact that you have access to running water.

I can say that for me, the speaker delivered on promise.

It was a social event and there wasn’t a speaker.

The speaker, Marie Carson, was amazing.
