I’m a newbie and want to get into real estate investments.

Newbie to investing and real estate  here, so sorry in advance if the answer to this is painfully obvious to experienced investors.I'm trying to educate myself on the possibility of flipping houses in the greater Boston area, an area from what I gather is generally very difficult and competitive to find a good deal in, and an area generally with very high acquisition costs (e.g., high risk, high reward). 

Could be confusing for a newbie and it makes my brain twitch ;)4. 

I keep seeing the request for more experienced investors here instead of too many newbies.

Newbies who accidently made money flipping will go bankrupt.Stocks are not bad per se.   

I'm sure some people with some real experience will chime in on this but as another newbie just diving into my REI career this seems to be pretty standard.

If anyone knows of any good ones (and are willing to share them) please help the newbie out!
