I'm wondering what is the average cost per square foot for a contractor in the Kansas City, MO area.

Although I would say Zillow helped me get a good foot in the game, but was a just a piece to the puzzle.

After running the numbers it made sense, he quoted a replacement cost of $90 a square foot on each SFH, (which would cover more than my purchase price on each).

I currently live there and was wondering about using the house hacking method to convert my 800 sq foot basement into another large bedroom/ in law suite.
