Why not just keep the worlds best currency i.e Bay Area Real estate intact, defer your plans to retire and focus your future income on investment in the location of your choice.

If you're looking for 9-10% monthly (which is doubling your money every year about) well, probably commodity or crypto speculation but I would think your odds of losing money are much better than making it and also assume that's not what you meant

I hate to fall victim to the fear of what banks and our currency is doing right now, but we are going to go ahead and finish our long term rental investments first and see how the banks and economy is doing, I feel as vacationers alone is going to dip a bit this year so I am going to hold off until we have a little more income source coming in from rentals first..
