I thank you for this amazing example that I am now going to integrate with my REI Agent Advisor training program as it's the perfect poster child of everything wrong with this "segment" of persons, there propensity to need the center stage and grab every soap box opportunity regardless of capability or command of any coherent specific knowledge, experience or performance and even a step further, boasting of their ignorance and instilling the PC-socialist rules that since they are clueless all others must adhere to that low bar and not show them up for fear of dashing the "all are equal" chant railing over and over and over again.

I do agree it would be a good lesson in real estate to take the courses and even the test but I guess like in Good Will Hunting you can get the education for a few dollars in late fees at the the library.

The reasons for the PR to sell, is to pay debts, family allowance, expenses of administration, taxes, dissension amongst the heirs, character of the probate property (cracked fireplace, leaky roof, drainage issues, etc.)There are no court mandates in CA for the PR to sell a decedent's property during the administration process as long as the PR has Letters of Administration (no will) or Letters of Testamentary (will).Yes a property going through probate can be sold.Since CA is opening up, take a visit to your local library and visit the periodicals section (Newspaper) and go to Classifieds then Legal Notices and look for Petition for Probate.To generate a probate list request past issue(s) of your local newspaper and go from there..Good luck...
