One thing to keep in mind is the special taxes you'll have to pay above and beyond the general taxes in a newer development or new build vs buying an existing home where the specials have expired.You might check out Derby as well, lots of development and decent homes for sale there - they've also had lots of nice development happening along Rock Rd.If you have $250k as a budget for a house you can get a very nice existing home too.

I am 22 years old almost 23 and have over 2000 a month left after all my expenses every month and i still live at home. my area is popular with some c- to c+ deals but not sure if it is worth it to start one if i have the free cash flow to go for a higher end market. my mind is flowing with a ton of ideas and any help or advise anyone has would be welcomed.Thanks and have fun!

@Mindy Jensen interior french drains are inferior to exterior drains IMO for the following reason.Exterior and interior drains remove water to the elevation that the pipe is installed.
