@Danny MallerYour unit and any common areas will only need to be re-inspected if the tenant is up for re-inspection (CHA recently changed this to bi-annually) or if you have a new tenant that is a voucher holder selected as a tenant.

If it's a multifamily (usually 3 or more), $100 per unit is acceptable.I agree with @Robert Leonard a lot of factors are considered when investing in real estate including cash on cash return which is your return on the money you invested in a deal.Hope it helps.
