Heard a funny story once where some first-time buyer was at the tail end of a several month FHA purchase and had a surprise divorce... supposedly the realtor ended up "purchasing" his swing-set for $3,500 to get him over the bar for required funds, and had to supply the bank with a notarized letter of purchase so they wouldn't write the deposit off as an un-seasoned gift.

One of the costs we hadn’t considered was the cost for notarizing all the documents- it came in at just over $300, which isn’t a ton- but more than I’d like to spend each time, especially as we scale.

And you are allowed to ask for a notarized letter from a doctor to state what that particular task is and that it's necessary for the person.So, if you're saying that they're stating that they'll get the dog registered.....that means that this dog is a pet now....and not a service dog.....there is no such thing as a registry for service dogs.
