For example, I have seen things as bad a turnkey companies not accounting for maintenance and repairs in their numbers... stuff breaks in rental properties and you need to get it fixed.I have also personally found that returns you can get from a turnkey company today pale in comparison to what you can get even just on MLS (zillow, etc).

I'd go with pale yellow and white. ....I've always wanted a yellow house trimed in white....

That said, the returns they offer pale in comparison to what you can get by doing a little work on your own and buying deals off the MLS.In any case, we love to talk all things real estate and love to help others getting started in the spirit of giving back!

There are numerous people that successfully BRRRR themselves.I agree with @Michael Paling, especially when he mentioned renting out the additional units after purchasing a multifamily property.

Sure Dunkin Donuts has some drinks but pales in comparison to what Starbucks offers.

@Patty Arville, I just posted something to another person’s post that was looking for Coaching as well so I will say the same thing here because it applies: BiggerPockets and REIA meetings and books can provide a good foundation, but in my mind, they pale in comparison to a good coach.

Your value should pale to your insurance value.

I’m a BIG fan of building ground up since the cost to build typically pales in comparison to the completed value, plus the ability to have it just how you like it.

And sometimes I use Quicksilver (pale blue by SW) in bathrooms or bedrooms so everything isn't all gray/greige. 

What is taught in a classroom will pale in comparison to learning from someone who is already very successful doing what you want to do in real time and the classroom learning materials are probably outdated.
