I agree with John, we are seeing renovation costs of $150k- $200k for a basement unit and $250k + for a coach house. 

With this strategy, we knew exactly how each house was operating and we could intervene or change leadership of the house if necessary to assure operations were going as we expected.

Targeting Section 8 housing?

I spent a couple months in Orlando back in 2022 for while working with Main Street Renewal.

I will be based out of Aston and will be trying to focus mainly on the Delaware County area to start my career.

Although I do know someone who has guest bedrooms and uses them mainly for in laws visiting from out of town.

The first main purpose of real estate investing(or any other investing) should be the return you are getting.
