I'm from Leesburg, and I can tell you—multi-family is a solid choice (piggybacking the previous comments which I agree 💯), especially with that live-in/rent-out, house hack strategy.

It's an acreage property near the lake that has a main house (2/1), guest house (3/2), and small studio-layout unit (3 units on same property).

I found an area I felt comfortable living in and I bought a house with an FHA loan.

Single-gender homes are only for transitional housing (like soberliving houses, halfway houses, etc). 

You mentioned student housing - What schools are they near? 

If you are just getting started here in Chicago, house hacking is the ideal situation.

Hello i bought a house for 75000$ and can get a loan on it for 155,000$  My question is hypothetically if i were to only get a 20,000 Loan From the 155,000$ loan and never pay it would they foreclose on my property and i would loose it for not paying the 20,000 Loan?

**For context I house hacked for about a year after she passed away but couldn't live in that house anymore and sold it.
