Quartz is subject to discoloration if a hot pot is put on it.

On move out, there was a discolored wall bump (bad patch job on a hole they made), all the walls were dirty, and floor had oil/gas, look & smell. 

1. landlord did not call this discolored ring out during initial inspection, even though it was there and our belongings were not in the way, he did not leave us a list to be fixed2. after we moved out, he did a final inspection, and wants to take $500 from our deposit for this ring. so we aren't given a chance as required by law to fix this ourselvesLandlords & realtors, what do y'all think? 

Eventually you'll notice little signs that'll just make you assume there's mold in the house such as water stains or discolorations on walls.

If they have been there awhile and had pictures hanging, there is discoloration on the wall when the frame is removed.

She sent a follow up email complaining about the following, to name a few:Small scratch on stainless steel fridgeslight discoloration in grout about sinkpenny size chip in tubscreen doors don't slide smoothlyAdditionally, she asked us to come spray the house because she saw centipedes and has a bug allergy.

Since I'm not there sniffing your walls, I can't run that risk calculation for you, but I would probably risk the Kilz Max if I didn't see large brown tobacco stain discolorations all over the walls.

I'm re-staining and painting the cabinets in my student rental and switching out the sink counter (23-year-old white formica with curling iron burns and steel sinks with lots of repaired chips and discoloration) for Swanstone. 

If there is still major discoloration after wash down.  

This can cause bulking and discoloration.
