But I would rather rent it out so it could be our first/foundational rental property and we can continue to grow our portfolio.We've been looking to rent for a while now but with the local rent pricing it is just as expensive/affordable to purchase your own condo than to rent.

Unfortunately, others are involved, so we'll just write off the $2k as a loss and continue to provide awareness of Bee Setups.

If you buy in a city with limited appreciation, every investment dollar must come from your savings, which is beyond the reach of most investors.Income continuity.

I plan to continue holding onto this property.

That economic opportunity will continue to drive population growth...who knows how the next few years go, but long term is up and to the right assuming that you do not buy in bad neighborhoods/locations.
