Apartments are the least ideal living situation for us, so what if we got stuck in a multifamily property we intended to just be in for a short time.

Most have their own company's now and stay a part of the community to leverage each other.  

Ive been told to build a huge buyers list to just get it under contract and market it.

You have to have confidence and the Sponsor needs to build a relationship with you if he wants to be sure you have some insights into the risks of the types of deals you would be funding. 

I'm currently in single family homes and apartment buildings in central and west Texas but have been evaluating a few residential assisted living homes + business / license to purchase in Austin and San Antonio.

I typically host single family homes, but have been asked to potentially host an apartment complex of 22 units.

I currently have a portfolio of SFH in Indiana and will always jump on a good deal for a SFH but I have been considering scaling up into multifamily commercial real estate (apartments, etc.)
