Hello, if you must live in San Jose, I'd say renting makes more sense, especially a 2.5M house for 5K a month.

As for San Antonio, I lived in Texas for a dozen years and spent a few days per month in San Antonio for work for a good chunk of that.

that's insane we just built a house in columbus ohio in 3 months. 24 months is crazy
