We currently own an STR in Red Lodge Mt. We have a $180K loan on it. The rentals are paying the holding costs on it so far (taxes and insurance are high in this market). We are self managing it as we live fairly close...

Im thinking, instead of a 4plex at 100k downpayment, Ill use 50k of Heloc to add to my 100k for a total of $150k to purchase a 6plex around 600 to 650k.
