Honestly speaking, I like people that speak frankly, so I was probably a sucker for Engelo's "if I swear a lot I will appear like a straight shooter" delivery.

I'd prefer not to give an entry code to lots of different delivery drivers if possible.In this position I'd wait until packages actually started getting stolen before doing anything, or maybe I'd get a Ring doorbell or camera. 

The custodian would provide some delivery instructions, you contact your plan admin of the 401k to let them know you're rolling over and provide the delivery instructions and they will send the funds- about 7-10 business days for processing.

@Kristi Kandel I don’t know a lot about roads or to what level you would have to build it to just make it a driveway but I just used ledge pack gravel in an 8 car parking lot and driveway that all in would have been at least 120’ long and in about 60’ two car widths wide and with delivery, cost of the gravel, and cost for the bobcat to spread the materials and pack them down it was all in about $1000.

The lender just needs to explain the builder up front that the funds can be wired same day as the home is set on the foundation and coordinate with the appraiser/inspector to meet at the time of delivery.

Costco and Home Depot farm out their deliveries so you won't get them to deliver.

It takes a lot to design, get the deliveries, put everything together, and make sure it's ready for guests.
