In my area it almost seems like medium/larger multifamily is a in a bit of a bloated state. 

Software "bloat" is a direct result of people demanding that their application do the job of what should properly be the domain of a different application.

Just stock trading with some of my bloated opportunity fund that normally earns pretty much nothing.I have some IRA capital I will deploy again into mutual funds at Dow 22500 if we get there.

It was over-bloated in 2021 and it has corrected somewhat.  

The trim on it bloated from the moisture in the bathroom :(I also agree that white shaker with a contrasting darker countertop looks dynamic, and is my look these days.

:D So a bunch of brokers coke up loans and sell them via banks to the bloated secondary market GSEs using inane one-size-fits-all underwriting criteria where the originator has very little skin in the game and there are problems?!

The big advantage is it is non-absorbant and inorganic, making it great for basements or other environments prone to high humidity or water ingress (it won't bloat and grow mould).To add to your list.  

I know our hurricane insurance premiums were bloated.  

None of them with much control and running wild.Starting next year, the first of millions of boomers will bloat the rolls of Medicare over the next ten years.
