It seems as if once a property hits the third-party websites (Zillow, Trulia, Redfin, Realtor), it's a treasure hunt to find deals that are worthy.

But you can assign yourself as a Treasurer and Administrator.

I would call the treasurers office or neighborhood services and ask if it's possible to find all addresses listed under one owner.

Get a list of tax delinquent properties from you county auditor or treasurer.

Given that the redemption period in Ohio is one year(I believe), it seems unlikely to me that the lien would be from 2003 or earlier.The county treasurer informed me that properties with tax liens can be bought up until the Sheriff's sale.
