My biggest issue with it was a partner of the RAL academy came in on Day 3 and spent 45 minutes showing pictures of a deal he did in colorado.

When a 21-year-old claims to make $600,000 in his first year of real estate, someone should verify that before sticking a mic in his face and praising his successes.Being on the podcast used to be a big deal.

Note, this is from direct experience.It might be wise to also consider selling since home prices are slightly up in the past 2 years. 

In the meantime, I'd like to get my Texas Real Estate License, but would like to know if I could do a few deals remotely before return back stateside to Texas, and can come into the office. 

Toby - getting your license for self representation of you're planning on doing a lot of deals is a good option.1) You have to hang your license with a broker unless you have a brokers license.

If I have a problem with my newspaper delivery or something equally non-critical, I'd like an answer or fix  now, but if it's later today or tomorrow, not a big deal.
