One of our first tenants was a Korean War Vet and his comment after living there 6 months was it felt and sounded like he was living in a war zone.

I've seen cables lying on the ground outside, dishes mounted on roofs improperly, and no customer education on the equipment.

Since I have not had use of the dishwasher for the last six months, I now have no where to wash dishes but in the bathroom sink.

I usually write in the Lease that I replace the filters once a year when inspecting the unit and they replace quarterly the rest of the year.They won't for sure because even the cheapest filter cost $8-10 but at least once a year it got replaced.Besides, some tenants don't report problems like plumbing, d/w cycle stop working or washer/dryer - they just do dishes themselves and go to laundromat.

I was able to save up a good chunk of money by delivering papers, washing dishes once I turned 14, working as a crewmember at Wendy's for 3 years, and then cleaning operating rooms for the last year of high school, and all throughout college.  

Only times they ever contacted me was for issue like - garbage disposal leaking, dish washer seal broken.. etc. 

Korean Media looks at Taiwan at what a remarkable job the gov't has done.

They are way too fragile, and anything heavy dropped on them like a can of peas, a pot or a heavy dish is going to break them.

Tenants don't treat dish washers like you would your own, some will throw plates in, still covered with food. 

Trash bags, dish soap, etc.
