When you work at a large corporation (national or global) you learn a lot in your role, but also by osmosis, just by observing other people and seeing how projects are developed, business is done etc.

Therefore, your agent isn't doing anything uncommon.You can always shop around to see if you can find someone who will work by a commission percentage.

Our goal is to be up in running by January of 2021.
