So the Developer has less into their lots than another development were the infrastructure is in the construction loan and is paid off when the lot sells.. so its a win for the developer if they can sell the homes for the same price as other developments that do not have this bond attached to each lot..

After 30 months I will have paid the loan down a little, forced appreciation, might have a little market appreciation and hopefully interest rates are lower in 30 months then they are now.

Ashley, if you are still a naval spouse, I would suggest the next time you are relocated that you consider buying a house via a VA loan wherever you end up stationed (excluding San Diego because it is too expensive) and do this every time you move.
