The contractor has continued to give numerous excuses over several weeks. 

Speaking from the seat as a Qualified Intermediary who is in the midst of numerous exchanges for clients right now, a question that I am receiving every day.  

There are numerous steps we can take to combat this lunacy.

I ask this because I have several Business expenses that are not directly tied to any one property or tools/assets that are used for numerous properties (i.e. table saw, Utility Trailer, Simplisafe Unit, etc).

All the government and fed is doing is trying to throw quick band aids everywhere but every "band aid" they put on causes numerous other problems because things are being done so quickly without thinking through all the ramifications. 

Personally I NEVER touch my cashflow and it has saved me numerous times when the tenant has moved out or when someone left their lease early. 

Personally speaking as I've been in numerous partnerships.  

I have looked on numerous travel nursing forums and majority consensus is that we cannot get approved while still doing contract work. 

Not exactly sure the real estate path I want to go down but I have read numerous books on flipping and owning rental properties.

If you aren't able to find things online, you could certainly contact the specific building/inspections departments of the cities in which you're buying, and they can likely share pertinent information.Keep in mind, some cities don't even require TISH inspecitons at the time of sale, and most properties will have plenty of minor code violations regardless (I've seen numerous TISH reports miss things as easy as smoke detector requirements).I don't have any good ideas on the high-equity absentee owner lists - someone working full-time on the buying side would be better suited for that question.Good luck!
