Brief background - My family will need to 1031 a property in the near future and will need the income to live off of.

Me and my boyfriend are moving to Jacksonville to invest in multifamily apartment complexes and have been looking for someone with a legal background.

I have not run the background check yet, I just did a quick search on the internet. 

My background in real estate/rehabs has been full gut job remodeling houses that my parents have lived in as well as remodeling my current home, at one point I was a mortgage loan originator (helps knowing how mortgages/financing works), and I'm currently in the process of getting my home inspection certification to help identify issues for my own benefit was well as generate additional income.  

If there's a way to collect the fee and run Credit check / Background check, that would be a great tool for an investor who is not full time yet (such as myself).

Betting its good old fashioned foundation damage.You will want to have not only an inspector take a look, but you might see if you can find a foundation company or structural engineer to check things out and get you a quote, because most inspectors will just tell you its a foundation issue and not provide any background on the scope.Foundation issues are common in Texas, every house you will come across will have issues to some extent.

I have a finance background, I've been day trading for over 7 years now.

Still in my initial stages of learning about real estate but I wanted to make sure my background assumptions still valid to help me steer towards my goal.

Conyers is an area with a lot of available land for building so mostly larger builders(over 300 homes a year) dominate.

Are they willing to pay you now for a background check and financial report?
