I also think where you are at in your investing career/portfolio plays a part too... if it completely blows up in your face, will the 80K kill your business? 

So far I have not found a list, suitable for those of us that are brain cell deficient, that lays out what can or can't be put into this category.

The thing is I'm pursuing a career in a field that makes money but won't make me happy.

Since creating a series LLC really isn’t much more work, and shouldn’t cost much more, I wish I had just started with a series LLC from the beginning, or at least early on in my investing career.

Short of a specialized career field, college is a waste of time and money.
