I dealt with this in a condo I bought from a smoker.1) Open windows2) Definitely rip up any carpet that may be there3) Put on a mask- Clean and scrub walls/windows/floors/trim every surface in the house with bleach/water mixture.

FHA Loans do have requirements that a lot of times don't pass appraisals. the biggest one that I run into the most is peeling and chipping paint inside and out. if the home has any of it, it will not pass inspection. sometimes it is over looked but a good appraiser will see it and call it.

The house shouldn't be 'going for' anything, except as evidenced by the high grass or peeling paint or distressed story.

There is a persistent problem with rising humidity in the walls, causing peeling paint and ease for mold to hold on to anything you hang on the walls.

It also says the paint surface must be "defective" which means chipped or peeling paint.In states with laws like this, it makes sense to have the home tested and abated when time permits so you can get it done and over with.

That’s not to say they don’t exist but they’re tough for sure..I will keep my eyes peeled for them and a lender that accepts rents in my preapproval figure, that’d be best case scenario in my mind!

I will happily ruin one deal, to grow my reputation, brand awareness, and credibility.All these really old-school marketing strategies do an incredible amount of damage to you in the long run and to most, this is masked by the sheer desperation to get ONE deal.Don't be one of those people.
