Several people in this thread have said it would affect their purchase decision and has in the past, which would indicate demand drops (despite a few realtors here saying they've never heard a client say it affected their decision, which, no offense, isn't exactly a valid statistical study or sample.).Several economists have said it will affect housing prices in high cost markets, and yet you claim they and I are all wrong.

Would you love to have someone solve that problem for you, I am here to help.....blah blah blah"That way you havent mentioned you know their pool is not maintained which could be either creepy or offensive or both, but it also opens up the conversation.I will say as another poster has mentioned, you may find yourself with a lot of houses with pool problems, and those could be a whole other issue in that most landlords dont want them , and they could be very expensive to fix.Best of luck to you, sounds like a really interesting way to target properties.

Religious artifacts have been removed and the former owner institution allows it to be re-purposed obviously.I know some people transform fire stations or libraries or churches into their own home but they are usually driven by passion more than financial wisdom (no offense).
