I'll admit, I need to go back and comb through some of the language on all of the 203k loan docs that I and he have signed so to see what his obligations are, but thought someone here might have experience in this area that they could share.Many thanks!

If you're planning on renting out an investment property you can add language to the lease to pass through the property taxes (basically the tenant acknowledges that their rent goes to pay the taxes) and get the homeowners exemption.

Rarely do banks ask for proof of funds on the front end as long as you are speaking their language or know what you are looking for.
