RE License and Conract

So I have 2 questions regarding wholesaling:

1st: When I contract properties to wholesale, I always put for my name "Kamal Elqutub and/or Assigns". By doing that I have lost some deals because the seller or agent did not feel comfortable with "And/or Assigns" after my name. Can I still wholesale properties without putting "And/or Assigns" after my name? How would that change the process?

2nd: I recently got rewarded my Real Estate License and Im looking for a broker to join that will allow me to wholesale properties as well. Any recommendations for brokers n the Houston, Texas area that will allow this?
