The ones to use are newer models which have a TIPPING switch that turns them off if they are turned over, like a dog or kid by accident.I had 3 incidents this past winter where furnaces went out over the weekend.

This is why a police incident report is always suggested because it goes a long way to show that you, as homeowner, noticed the condition and are working on fixing it, if possible.

Tim - You're a smart guy, and I know that you know this...but unfortunately a lot of people have no clue...Consider that had the Democrats been in office in 2001 and had put the TSA in charge of airport security, you would have heard this same outrage years ago (like with the incident above).
