Tile is very durable too.

We prefer properties to have strong durability for the future.  

The home will rent for $2,350/mo so I want it to attract good renters, but I also want it to be cost-effective and durable.

I changed my mind midway through the rehab on the materials I wanted to use for the project and went with more durable materials than i originally planned, which in turn increased my cost.  

I bullet proof my property as much as possible.  1st off, I'm renting 1000sq ft units, not much to damage, 2nd, my flooring is very durable, either vinyl, laminate  or ceramic tile, 3rd I have their deposit to help offset damages.  

When choosing other items, don't pick the "really different" option or the really plain option, pick something in the middle that looks durable, classic, and interesting.  

It is $2.79 a sq ft but seems to be very durable and has a lifetime warranty.

I've had similar thoughts about metal roofs as they are more unique and provide an advantage in durability.

The vinyl is interesting because of its durability.

This is very durable, it goes in easy and is relatively inexpensive and best of all it can be grouted.
